Creaform
Creaform, leading manufacturer of portable 3D optical measurement solutions and 3D engineering services, will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe, Germany, its portable 3D optical measurement systems, which can be used in any work environment, thanks to dynamic referencing.
The Go!SCAN 3D, Handyscan 3D and MetraSCAN 3D portable 3D scanners as well as the HandyPROBE optical CMM from Creaform are ideal for any manufacturer in need of an accurate and reliable measurement device designed to operate in “real-life” shop floor conditions. The 3D optical measurement solutions from Creaform are known for boasting innovative concepts such as self-positioning and dynamic referencing, which ensure that the measurement system is “locked » via an optical connection to the part to be measured. Based on theTRUaccuracy technology the instruments thus produce consistently reliable and extremely precise measurements. Thanks to the dynamic referencing, the environment surrounding the part to be measured is of no concern: vibrations, high/fluctuating temperatures, dust or any other extreme condition won’t have any impact at all on the accuracy and speed of our measuring devices.
A comprehensive portable 3D measurement solution for tactile inspections and dynamic measurement is theVXtrack dynamic tracking module. Teamed with Creaform’s C-Track dual camera optical sensor, VXtrack can be used to simultaneously and continuously measure positions and orientations in space with great precision. Combined with the HandyPROBE optical arm-free CMM, VXtrack provides a complete portable 3D measuring solution offering both probing inspection and dynamic measurement capabilities. The module is used for robot calibration and control, monitoring of complex assembly processes, compensation of mechanical errors in real time, as well as for monitoring of deformations during the test phase.
