HEIDENHAIN (GB) has again reinforced its policy of encouraging young engineers into the world of precision engineering by earlier this year awarding a series of scholarships to enable students to attend the Lamdamap laser metrology, machine tool, co-ordinate measuring machine and robotic performance Conference at the Kavli Royal Society International Centre, Buckinghamshire.
The HEIDENHAIN Scholarships enabled six students to attend the event, which is globally acknowledged as the leading technology transfer forum for academia to share with industry groundbreaking updates on international developments in advanced manufacturing engineering. This year’s event shared know-how in instrumentation, technologies and engineering for the production of highly-advanced products.
