Amada Miyachi Europe, the leading supplier of laser and resistance welding systems and laser marking products, will be showcasing its innovative new laser marking workstation and unique resistance welding and hot bar solutions at Micronora 2014, the microprecision technology trade fair taking place in Besancon, France, September 23-26, 2014, in Hall A2, Booth #625-627. On display will be the new MIYACHI UNITEK LMWS Laser Marking Workstation (LMWS) equipped with an ML-73 D Series fiber laser marker, the MIYACHI PECO Active Welding System (AWS) 3, and the MIYACHI EAPRO newhorizon hot bar.
The new small and compact LMWS, specifically designed for bench top operation, has a fresh industrial design, with a Class 1 enclosure featuring improved appearance and functionality. Designed for lean manufacturing, the versatile and easily configurable LMWS is ideal for marking metals, ceramics, and many plastics, and also has cutting, drilling, and welding capabilities.
Visitors to the booth can see the LMWS integrated with the 4th generation of MIYACHI UNITEK ML-73 D Series fiber laser markers. Particularly suited for high power and high speed laser marking, laser engraving, laser ablation and laser annealing, the versatile ML-73 D series is designed with multiple integration options to accommodate standalone operation, full production automation, or prototype development. The updated ML-73 D series is a durable, air-cooled, and sealed laser marker for operation even in harsh production environments.
Also on display is the MIYACHI PECO AWS3, an integrated resistance welding solution providing process control, monitoring and quality analysis all in one. It offers maximum flexibility and is equipped with modular components for a variety of applications. Virtual network computing (VNC) functionality allows for remote services on-site or from different locations minimizing costs and maximizing uptime.
A compact MIYACHI EAPRO “newhorizon” hot bar solution will also be on display. This newhorizon hot bar product line covers a complete range of systems offering pulsed heat and constant heat temperature controllers, low-force and high-force bonding heads, and a full automatic ACF laminating system. These solutions offer an ideal price-performance ratio for hot bar reflow soldering and heat-seal bonding applications, especially in the IT, multimedia, and electronics industries.
