All Helitronic and Ewag tool and insert production machines, as well as Helicheck tool measuring machines, being supplied by Walter Ewag UK, part of the United Grinding Group, are now of updated design for an improved, modern appearance and uprated functionality.
In addition to encompassing the complete range of Walter Helitronic multi-axis grinding/erosion machines for tool production/regrinding and the Walter Helicheck tool inspection machines, the design enhancements also apply to the Ewag range of Compact, Ewamatic, Insert and Laser line of tool/insert grinders, erosion and laser machines.
Designed to make the machines more visually attractive, the new-look machines now also feature:
• Height-adjustable control panels, more ergonomic door handles and maintenance-friendly access/improved service openings
• An enlarged field of vision of the machine interior
• Modified foot area for improved working space and foot clearance
• Compact housing for centralised connections
• Multi-colour signal lamp with optimal status visibility and integrated flash mode
• Improved surfaces and materials for simpler cleaning.
The first machines sporting the new designs were launched at this year’s EMO.
