The Byora expansion of R&D investment includes a vertical integration of 'in-house' production of raw material, tooling (cold heading/form rolling), and an increased number of 'critical component' test production.
Byora specialises in converting parts that have been traditionally machined to the more efficient cold forming method of production.
The continued investment in R&D is in concert with Byora’s unique ability to work closely with customers in transitioning their component parts to cold heading production. Engineering teams as well as tooling and production personnel all work together with customers in providing manufacturing solutions. This synergy allows Byora to provide customers with all the benefits of cold forming such as little to no raw material waste, stronger parts, higher production speeds, and lower cost.
Since 1959, Byora’s commitment to research and development in expanding the limits of cold heading and form rolling technology has helped make Byora the world leader in precision micro miniature cold headed parts for the medical, electronics, automotive, and many other industries.
Byora manufactures parts as small as 0.279 mm (0.011 inches) to exacting tolerances and the company is able to achieve formed complex components in both the small and large diameter ranges (up to 8 mm).
