Today, ALIO has a dedicated team of professional building over 300 standard True Nano Precision motion system products with 6-D Point Precision for the global nano precision market.
ALIO’s more than six years spent focusing on Point Precision is the basis for providing the highest precision motion systems available on the world market. We start with rigid designs, unique machining techniques, careful and exacting assembly methodology then testing to standards beyond what today’s ISO/ASME procedures require. ALIO’s nanometer level bi-directional repeatability, flatness and straightness lead to 6-D Nano Precision.
The base of ALIO’s technology was framed in 2001with the patented Hexapod for fibre alignment. With novel designs and creative machining ALIO products evolved from complex parallel kinematics robots to XY motion system and patented Z stages which are the basis for the 3-Axis laser machining system at Politecnico. Years of designs and machining refinement focused on Nano precision to a point in space and not the legacy thinking of planar precision sets ALIO in a unique position in the world for Point Precision motion systems.
The 3-Axis system supplied to Politecnico is an example of ALIO’s 6-D Nano Precision motion systems integrated with a Power PC from Delta Tau that allows for laser control and offsets most importantly controlling the ALIO True Nano motion system to perform more than an order of magnitude more precise than legacy motion systems manufactured in the world market. As seen in inspecting the parts under a microscope the precision especially when contouring, spiraling and placing flex features in the parts are exact in dimensions with edge quality and kerf perfection.
ALIO’s broad product range covers Hybrid Hexapods, linear and rotary motion platforms using both high precision mechanical and air bearings. ALIO offers single axis motion, integrated XY stages with closed and open centers, rotary axes, patented lift stages and complex integrated multi axis solutions such as our Hybrid Hexapod.
