EPHJ
The future of high precision, down to the micron! A comprehensive overview of 85 innovations that will transform watchmaking, jewellery, medtech, and microtechnology.
A true international platform for high precision, the EPHJ trade show has published its Innovation Digest 2025, a trilingual edition (FR/EN/DE) featuring 85 innovations unveiled this year by start-ups, SMEs, and other leading groups. A compendium of breakthroughs in products, machines, and processes: extreme miniaturization, surface finishes, new materials, treatments and lasers, data/AI-assisted quality control, industrial sustainability. Innovations serving high-precision industries that are innovating to preserve expertise and gain competitiveness.
“This Digest highlights solutions that are ready for production and ideas that are ready to grow. It is a working tool for manufacturers, design offices, industrial teams, and R&D decision-makers, who will find new ideas and ways to accelerate concrete projects,” emphasizes Alexandre Catton, director of the EPHJ trade show.
This eagerly awaited publication comes at a time when innovation is more widely recognized than ever as a driver of growth. The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt for their work explaining innovation-driven growth, highlighting how technological progress and “disruptive innovation” are key to long-term prosperity.
Through this non-exhaustive overview of innovations often unveiled in a world premiere at the show, EPHJ continues its mission: to give visibility to solutions of excellence, to promote transfers between watchmaking-jewelry, microtech and medtech, and to accelerate encounters between brands and suppliers. The Innovation Digest complements the trade show's other features, such as the Exhibitors' Grand Prix, the Innovation Forum, and the round tables, which make EPHJ the focal point for expertise and precision industrialization.
