Luxinar, a laser technology leader since 1998, is thrilled to showcase its range of laser sources on stand C64, hall 21, at MECSPE, Bologna, Italy, 5-7 March 2025. The company provides a comprehensive CO2 laser portfolio, from 80 to 1000 Watts, including pulsed lasers and high-speed marking and coding systems.
Since TroGroup acquired Luxinar in July 2024, Iradion and Luxinar have joined forces in a partnership that expands the company’s sales and service capabilities, offering a wider choice of laser sources, applications and international support on three continents. The united company now provides a comprehensive CO2 portfolio, including pulsed and CW lasers and a combined short pulse and ultrashort pulse laser product portfolio to address a wide range of laser applications.
The OEM series of CO2 lasers with a power range up to 1000W represents a compact solution for easy integration into industrial processing production lines with and without outer covers. The latest model in the range, OEM 45iE, is a 25-450W sealed CO2 laser source with a reduced footprint, ideal for installations where space is restricted.
The SR AOM series, with powers up to 150W, is designed to address a wide range of high-precision applications that require a reduced heat-affected zone, such as multilayer thin film cutting for the display market and high resolution/speed marking. This CO2 laser with an integrated acousto-optic modulator creates optical rise and fall times of less than 1µs that can minimise unnecessary heat energy from typical pulse rise/fall times of approximately 60µs.
The SR series of sealed CO2 laser sources have a power range up to 250W and a rating of IP66; this means they are ideal for the harshest industrial environments to ensure high protection against water and dust ingress. The units have a compact and lightweight mechanical design, a simple DC power supply connection, an easy-to-understand control interface, and digital diagnostics with enhanced LED.
Walter Gensabella, Luxinar’s Regional General Manager (Italy), explained: "We are excited to be exhibiting at the international manufacturing exhibition MECSPE once again and to highlight the benefits of working with Luxinar, including our customer support.”
From pre-sales to post-sales, Luxinar’s teams in China, Germany, Italy, Korea, the UK and the USA offer customer-specific laser support. Luxinar’s applications engineers cut, mark, engrave, drill, scribe and ablate customer samples to replicate their application in the lab. The engineers return processed samples within 10 working days and a detailed report of their findings even sooner. They also provide complimentary advice from fume extraction to sample positioning to help customers determine the best laser for their application. The Luxinar aftersales team comprises technical specialists who are passionate and knowledgeable about laser sources. Each team member has an in-depth understanding of Luxinar’s laser sources, has experience with lasers working in many industries and environments and provides troubleshooting, spare parts identification, product documentation, integration support and system maintenance.
