After more than 40 years at the helm of Diener AG Precision Machining (DPM), Rolf Diener is stepping down from his role as CEO but will continue to contribute his expertise to the Acrotec Group company as Chairman of the Board of Directors of DPM.
Founded in 1955 in Zürich-Seebach, Switzerland, Diener AG Precision Machining (DPM) specializes in the manufacturing of medical technology products and precision mechanics. The company’s growth and expansion into larger facilities in Embrach have been driven for over 40 years by Rolf Diener as CEO.
“Our company is in excellent shape, so it’s time for me to take a step back and focus on my role as Chairman of the Board,” says Rolf Diener.
After several successful experiences leading companies in similar industrial sectors, including the last five years as CEO of Ypsotec, Daniele Galatioto has been appointed CEO of Diener AG Precision Machining effective August 12, 2024. “This is an incredible challenge for me as the new leader of DPM,” says Daniele Galatioto. “Its reputation and expertise in high-precision milling and turning, quality assurance, and cleanroom operations are benchmarks in this demanding market, and the quality of the existing teams, as well as the synergies with the Acrotec Group, should enable us to reach new milestones.”
Among his strategic priorities, the new CEO will also need to prepare for the succession and train the next generation of the company’s leaders. To this end, he will work closely with Linus Diener, COO of DPM, to prepare him to become the next CEO of the company within a few years, thus continuing the tradition of a Diener family member at the helm of DPM.
