SENSOR+TEST - the leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology - will open its doors again in Nuremberg under the motto "Welcome to the Innovation Dialog!". On the three days of the exhibition until May 12, 2022, around 360 exhibitors from 27 nations again expect numerous visitors and experts to inform themselves on site about the innovations and trends in the industry and to exchange ideas.
To produce precise results digital systems need the most comprehensive and accurate information possible about real-world conditions. Sensors and measuring systems ensure this link between the digital and the real, analog world and are thus the key technologies for the functioning of digital processes of all kinds. Following on from this, this year's special topic of the show - Sensor and Measuring Technology for the Digital World - will be highlighted specifically at numerous exhibition stands. The exhibitors of SENSOR+TEST will present a wide range of innovative solutions for this task.
Holger Bödeker, managing director of the organizing AMA Service GmbH, comments: "The major trends of this time, from Industry 4.0 to Cloud, Industrial Internet of Things, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, all have one thing in common: Without the data from sensors, measurement and test systems, they would come to nothing. In order for the benefits of their innovations to unfold, there first needs to be a sufficient collection of the relevant data from machines, plants, processes and the environment."
Two exciting scientific conferences
As regularly scheduled, SENSOR+TEST will be accompanied by the 21st ITG/GMA-Fachtagung Sensoren und Messsysteme. On May 10 and 11, international experts will present the latest results from research and development in the field of sensors and measurement systems in numerous technical lectures and poster presentations at the Congress Center West of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
Together with SENSOR+TEST, the ettc2022 European Test and Telemetry Conference (May 10-12, 2022) will be held in hall 2. It is the most important international platform for telemetry, telecontrol, test instrumentation and data processing. Visitors and participants will experience the important role of telemetry technologies for applications e.g. in aerospace, automotive industry and biomedicine in current industrial developments such as IoT, Big Data, wireless or UAV (drones).
Exhibitor forum: Know-how to go and digital
In addition to the extensive conference program, visitors can also gain an overview of the exhibitors' latest products and developments in numerous free lectures at the open technical forum in hall 1 on all three days of the trade show - virtually in passing. For those interested who cannot be on site, all lectures will be broadcasted live and the videos will be published online after the event.
SENSOR+TEST 2022 will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all three days of the fair. Visitors must register in advance online at https://www.sensor-test.com/direct/ticket. There will be no ticket sales in Nuremberg. However, many exhibitors offer their visitors vouchers for free registration, so it is worth asking the exhibiting companies in any case.
