Just three months before the opening, preparations for SENSOR+TEST from May 09-11, 2023 are in full swing. The leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology will again be held at the exhibition center in Nuremberg. More than 350 exhibitors are expected at the Innovation Dialog. With the progressive lifting of many Corona restrictions worldwide, the interest of international exhibitors in particular has also grown considerably.
"We will welcome our exhibitors and visitors again in the exhibition halls of NürnbergMesse in May," Holger Bödeker, Managing Director of AMA Service GmbH, is pleased to say. "As things stand at present, we expect more than 350 exhibitors in Halls 1 and 2 this year. Even if this does not quite bring us up to the figures of the exhibition before Corona, SENSOR+TEST will not lose anything in terms of attractiveness, but will even gain with numerous highlights."
The participation of international exhibitors is also positive. In addition to Switzerland, from which most companies have been coming for many years, a large number of British companies will be present in May. Several companies and delegations from China have also confirmed their participation. Due to the great interest, Hall 1 is already completely booked. "There are still free places in Hall 2, but interested parties should not take too much longer with their registration, because numerous other companies from Germany and abroad are waiting in the wings to present their innovations on site in Nuremberg," says Holger Bödeker.
Full social program expected
The extensive supporting program, which has already characterized the SENSOR+TEST for many years, will again be accompanied by a top-class lecture forum in 2023. Holger Bödeker comments: "The quality is very high due to the review of the submissions by a panel of experts, from which especially the visitors of the trade fair will benefit." Thus, interested parties can already look forward to a highly attractive program. On the forums, exhibitors will present new developments, products and application possibilities on all three days. Admission for visitors is free. And there's more: interested parties who can't be on site will have the opportunity to watch all the presentations live or online after the event. The motto of the lecture forum on May 9, 2023 is "Sensors and Measurement Technology for New Energies".
This year's special program includes a Job Lounge for the first time. Here, on the Thursday of the fair, exhibitors of the SENSOR+TEST present themselves to an interested audience with their topics around human resources. The program is rounded off by the Job Fair and the Career Center, where engineers and students of technical disciplines receive tips on applications and careers from human resources professionals.
A world-class congress
From May 8-11, 2023, the SMSI 2023 - Sensor and Measurement Science International Conference - will now be held for the first time as a presence event in Nuremberg, after it had only digitally brought together numerous national and international scientists, developers and experts in 2021. "This year, the participants will particularly appreciate the symbiosis with the parallel trade fair, where they can ideally continue their innovation dialog," Holger Bödeker is convinced. SMSI 2023 comprises the three thematic blocks "Sensors and Instrumentation", "Measurement Science" and "System of Units and Metrological Infrastructure".
The new format has it all, linking national and international representatives from research, science, industry and government institutions. The SMSI Conference provides a platform for the exchange of the latest research results. For more information, interested parties can visit www.smsi-conference.com.
Also digital in 2023
The SENSOR+TEST again focuses strongly on innovation communication. Thus, already in the run-up to the event, interested parties can find a whole range of innovations and topics on the website www.sensor-test.com, which they can experience live at the trade fair. This is rounded off by regular newsletters, which draw attention to the technologies offered by exhibitors, as well as via the social media channels, in which continuous and up-to-date reports are provided - before, during and after the event.
